Brian A. Mulligan is a physical therapist and owner of Mulligan PT. He has been a practicing physical therapist with over 25 years experience and is licensed in both NJ and PA. He has had experiences including an extended tenure at St. Lawrence Rehab Center in Lawrenceville, NJ in the inpatient and outpatient department, and has also worked in the home care industry. Additionally, he has managed both a successful wheelchair and seating clinic as well as a neurologist-owned outpatient PT office. He founded Mulligan Physical Therapy in 2006 with a desire to create an outpatient PT office that focused more on individual treatment and less about volume of patients being seen. Having worked in various settings, he realized the entire reason he was drawn to this profession was to help people, which he realized can get lost in the shuffle with too many patients to treat at once. With his philosophy of more one on one care he can spend the quality time each patient needs, both with manual treatment as well as exercise education and progression in order for the patients to get a complete rehab from their condition. Although Brian considers himself a generalist physical therapist treating all types of conditions, he specializes in neurological deficits and has a strong interest in balance and gait. Having worked and gained much experience throughout all realms of rehab, from inpatient to home care to outpatient, Brian understands the barriers that patients face with regard to their rehab process, and is able to be extremely comprehensive and efficient in physical therapy treatment. Brian incorporates a hands-on individualized approach to PT and designs specific programs for patients, to meet their specialized needs in order to quickly recover. Brian enjoys spending time with his family and four children, as well as playing recreational sports and coaching his kids’ teams. He is also a huge Boston Celtics, NY Mets, and Philadelphia Eagles fan!
